Chapter 50 “Vows”

• "GOOD afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Today marks a new beginning to the lives of Zack and Irryn together and it means a lot to both of them that you, their family, are here to witness their wedding vows and celebrate their marriage."
• The truth is I was the one who chose a civil wedding when everyone in the family including Zack, my groom, wanted a grand church wedding. I just begged him to make it civil. Why would make it grand if we know that the real agenda of this wedding is not love. I don't want Zack to take me to the altar and present me to God because he is only forced to be, as what his father wishes him to do, and I also do not want to lie in church.
• "One of my duties is to inform you that this room has been duly sanctioned according to law for the celebration of marriages. You are here to witness the joining in marriage of Zack Lamont and Irryn Rosabell. If any person in the present knows of any lawful impediment why these two people may not be joined in marriage he or she should declare it now."
