• Olivia, pleased, looked up just as Amelia declared, “I want the people who are bullying me removed.”
• She burst into laughter, clutching her stomach. “Amelia, you’re really putting on a show! Who knew you had such a sense of humor? Hahaha, you’re too funny!”
• The two security guards laughed as well, shaking their heads at the girl’s naivety.
• At that moment, the elevator dinged, and Jack, the CEO’s assistant, hurried out, looking flustered.
• Olivia was taken aback. “Mr. Jack?”
• Jack, ignoring Olivia, rushed over to Amelia and and nearly blurted out "Madam".
• “Ma...”
• Amelia shook her head quietly.
• Jack quickly adjusted his tone, “Ms. Harper, welcome! I’m sorry for the oversight. This is entirely my fault!”
• Olivia was stunned.
• What was going on here?
• Jack’s role was crucial; he was known to be very close to Mr. Carter, coming from Carter Group’s main office in Ashford.
• Seeing Jack treat Amelia with such deference was unexpected.
• Jack asked, “Ms. Harper, who has bullied you?”
• Amelia pointed coldly at Olivia and the security guards. “These people. I want them fired!”
• Jack’s expression hardened. “You heard her! You’re all fired. Leave Carter Group immediately!”
• The security guards, filled with regret, pleaded. “We’re sorry! We didn’t realize who she was. We were just following the rules. Please, we need our jobs to support our families. If we're fired, we’ll be in serious trouble!”
• Amelia thought for a moment and said to Jack, “Forget about them. They were only following company policy.”
• Despite Ethan’s support, Amelia wasn’t one to seek revenge beyond what was necessary.
• Jack promptly said, “Let’s overlook this incident for now. Notify everyone in the security department to recognize Ms. Harper’s face. From now on, treat her with respect and do not block her. Understood?”
• “Understood! Understood!” The two security guards repeatedly bowed to Amelia. “Thank you, Ms. Harper!”
• Olivia was left in shock!
• She suddenly realized that Amelia must be backed by Jack!
• That’s why Jack is supporting Amelia!
• Jealousy flared in Olivia’s eyes. She thought she was much more alluring than Amelia!
• “Mr. Jack!” Olivia pushed out her chest, accentuating her curves, and spoke in a sugary tone, “I’m Amelia’s classmate. It was all a misunderstanding.”
• “You’re an intern, right?” Jack looked at Olivia’s flirtatious demeanor with disgust.
• “Who hired someone with such poor manners? Get the HR department here immediately!”
• Henry, hearing the news, hurried over in panic. “Mr. Jack, it’s a misunderstanding! My daughter is truly a talented individual. I brought her in to help with the company.”
• Jack sneered, “Are you thinking about the company or just yourself? How dare you use your position for personal gain! What do you think Carter Group is?”
• “You can leave right now. Go to the finance department, settle your salary, and leave! From now on, you’re blacklisted throughout the industry! No company associated with Carter Group in Oceancliff will hire you!”
• Jack then gave a respectful bow to Amelia and said, “Ms. Harper, please!”
• Henry crumpled to the ground.
• As the main provider for his family, he wondered how they would survive after losing his job and being blacklisted across all Oceancliff companies.
• Olivia, frightened, called out, “Dad.”
• “You're so shameless!” Henry slapped Olivia hard across the face. “You’ve ruined everything! I supported you, paid for your education, and spent so much on you. And this is how you repay me? I’m going to kill you today!”
• Henry continued to assault Olivia, who cried out in pain.
• The security manager then escorted them out, saying, “If you want to fight, do it somewhere else. Don’t make a mess on Carter Group’s premises!”

• Amelia arrived at the 38th-floor CEO office and greeted Ethan with excitement.
• “Mister!” she said cheerfully as she approached him.
• “Already here?” Ethan asked, rubbing his forehead, surrounded by a mountain of paperwork.
• Amelia went up to him, gently pushing his wheelchair. “Mister, why don’t you take a break? Let’s go outside and enjoy some sunshine!”
• “Sure.”
• The terrace, bathed in sunlight, offered a breathtaking view of Oceancliff.
• Ethan inquired, “So, did you get your revenge?”
• Amelia eagerly nodded. “Yes, I did! It felt so good! Hahaha!”
• Seeing her joy, Ethan couldn’t help but smile as well.
• A few minutes later, Jack entered the room and addressed Ethan with respect. “Mr. Carter, William from the Brooks family, who provides materials to Carter Group, has arrived and wishes to see you.”
• “You can handle that,” Ethan replied casually.
• He wasn’t keen on neglecting Amelia for the sake of an outsider. William wasn’t significant enough to warrant his attention.
• “Do you have dealings with the Brooks family?” Amelia suddenly asked.
• “What’s up?”
• Amelia frowned and said, “William is such a creep! His stare is so gross, and he even said I smelled like garbage!”
• Ethan’s demeanor grew cold instantly. He instructed Jack, “Immediately end all collaborations with the Brooks family. Halt all ongoing projects and make sure William is covered in trash!”
• Jack’s face hardened, and he responded, “Understand, Mr. Carter. I’ll get it done right away!”
• He looked at Amelia, realizing he needed to reassess Mrs. Carter’s importance to Mr. Carter.

• In the meeting room.
• William and Sophia were sipping coffee.
• William confidently patted his chest and said, “Sophia, don’t worry. Our partnership with the Carter family has always been smooth, and our relationship is strong. Everything will be fine!”
• “You’re amazing, Mr. William!” Sophia praised.
• “Hehe, let’s go to the couple’s cinema afterward.”
• At that moment, several security guards entered the room.
• William, surprised, asked, “Where’s Mr. Jack? I had an appointment with him, but he’s not here.”
• The guards responded coldly, “Mr. Jack won’t be seeing you. Mr. Carter has ordered that all collaboration with the Brooks family be stopped immediately.”
