Chapter 15 I Will Dump Him A Year Later

• After Song Shenglan left, the three ladies exploded.
• “Look at how arrogant she is!”
• “Yes! She said that she’ll be the one who dumps Mr. Gong! She’s such a whore, and she’s not ashamed of her claim!”
• “Right! Even if Mr. Gong dumps her, she should feel honored. Who does she think she is?”
• “I’m so pissed off! Wan Ting, we must find ways to teach her a lesson!”
• While three of them were talking privately, Song Shenglan was already in the hall.
• Song Shenglan knew that she had achieved her purpose today, thus she was ready to leave.
• After she bid farewell to Mrs. Gong and informed Gong Minghan, she exited the hall.
• It was already dark outside. From Gong family’s hall to the main road, she had to go through a garden. Song Shenglan walked across the field. She heard somebody was making a call as she reached the corner.
• Song Shenglan ignored at first, however, she stopped moving when she heard a familiar name.
• “What else did Chu Yilun mention?” The man’s voice was low and magnetic.
• Song Shenglan held her breath and stood still.
• Chu Yilun, the disgusting name that I hate the most!
• She tried to listen but the man lowered down his voice. He then ended the phone call and walked towards her direction.
• Under the moonlight, the man’s exquisite face was even more profound. His eyes were terrifying and Song Shenglan had never seen such a cold stare.
• He was blood-thirsty and cold. He had a murderous look. Song Shenglan was horrified even though she had experienced death once.
• He stood in front of Song Shenglan. His eyes were locked on hers.
• He was very tall as compared to her. She felt a great sense of oppression although she was wearing high heels.
• It was hard for her to breathe.
• The rumors about Gong Zemu flashed in her mind. Song Shenglan’s heart was beating rapidly, however, she opened her mouth to talk in a calm tone. “Mr. Gong, I didn’t know you’re making a call here, so…”
• At that moment, the moonlight escaped from the layers of cloud in the sky. The shadow of the tree branch above their head fell on them.
• Gong Zemu suddenly pressed the shoulder of Song Shenglan against the wall. He lower his head but his voice was in the same tone, “But I saw that you have no intention of leaving, do you?”
• When he spoke, there was hot breath on top of her head. Song Shenglan did not feel hot at all. She only felt a chill down her spine.
• She replied, “Mr. Gong, I didn’t know what to do just now, that’s why I forgot to react.”
• He did not respond. He looked straight into her eyes, “Tell me, why are you here?”
• Song Shenglan shook her head. She could sense there was something secretive about Gong family and she was the unlucky one who accidently bumped into it.
• He might want to kill me!
• She wanted to say something; however, Gong Zemu used his hand to lift up her chin, which forced her to face up.
• He lowered his head further.
• Now, the distance of their lips was only one finger apart. They could smell each other’s breath. He drank earlier on, thus the smell of alcohol in his breath was getting stronger.
• Gong Zemu spoke in a low voice as if he was talking to his lover, however, his message was extremely cold. “I don’t know why you’re getting close to Gong family but as long as I’m here, I won’t allow any conspiracy to exist.”
• “I don’t have any motive…” Song Shenglan wanted to say something but she was interrupted by Gong Zemu’s gesture.
• His hand was on her waist. He moved his body forward. The distance between them instantly became close to zero.
• Song Shenglan could feel his firm chest through his thin clothing in such a close distance. There was an unusual tension caused by the hormones in her body.
• She had not been in love in her past life. Her relationship with Chu Yilun was more to that of siblings.
• When Chu Yilun confessed to her all of a sudden and her father agreed, she actually hesitated.
• However, she agreed with what they said. She should find a partner that she knew inside out. Romance was not important in a marriage as long as they could live comfortably together.
