Chapter 4 Reborn

• Life was like a dream. When Song Shenglan regained her conscious, she felt the heat on her body. She moaned softly in pain, feeling she was still being surrounded by the flame.
• Suddenly a man yelled, “Get lost!”
• Song Shenglan opened her eyes and realized that she was half-naked on a man who had just finished showering.
• The man had a perfect body. His chest and abdominal muscles were as beautiful as a bronze beauty. His upper body was wet and he only had a bath towel on his waist.
• Water flowed along the contour of his muscles and down under.
• He had a muscular figure with a handsome face. He looked like he had been kissed by an angel. Even with only a towel on, he was emitting a strong presence.
• As soon as Song Shenglan came to her realization, she immediately jumped off from the man and stepped down.
• She was in disbelief when she stepped on the wooden floor.
• She was not paralyzed and she could walk! This had not happened ever in the last 3 years after what Chu Yilun did to her.
• She was not able to make out of the current situation. She checked her hands and they were not the same as how she remembered them to be. Her skin was now as fair and as fine as it could be.
• They were functioning well and there were no scars at all.
• With that in mind, she began to reach out for her face.
• Although there was a thick layer of make up on her face, her face was silky smooth.
• Seeing her acting odd, the man sneered, “Yu Chenwei, don’t pretend you have stumbled upon me by accident! We all know what you are trying to do!”
• Yu Chenwei? Is he referring to me? Song Shenglan was in a complete shock. She was puzzled.
• Seeing Song Shenglan without any response for his words, the man threw her into the bathroom. He switched on the showerhead and left gracefully.
• The heat on her body was dispersed under the cold shower. She gradually came to her senses.
• She raised her head and looked at the girl in the mirror.
• The girl was about 168cm in height. Her face was smudged with melted makeup under the water.
• She had a slender figure with a fair skin. Her limbs were fine and there were no scars on her face.
• Although her makeup was all messed up, it did not conceal the fact that she was a young lady, could be in her 20s. She had a lustrous black hair that shone.
• Song Shenglan covered her mouth with her hands and let out a hum.
• She was in sync with the girl in the mirror. She raised her hands and the girl did the same. When she turned on her back, the girl in the mirror did too.
• She gave herself a hard pinch in the arm. It was hurtful and her arm a red mark had formed instantly.
• Song Shenglan could not hold back her emotions any longer. Her eyes welled up with tears and rolled down her cheeks!
• This was not a dream, she is alive, her soul had been assigned to a stranger.
• She was given a second chance by God. A chance to live and a chance to avenge their death!
• As the water continued to pour onto her, she became familiar with the face she was seeing in the mirror.
• She began to gain the memory of Yu Chenwei.
• Yu Chenwei was 20-years-old, she was from the Hua Province. She was in 3rd grade pursuing an AI degree, which was known as Artificial Intelligence. As a top qualifier, she had been selected to work in MSRA laboratory, the most famous AI laboratory in the country.
• The man outside was the chief of the Gong family, Gong Zemu.
• The Gong family was the most prominent financiers in the country. Gong Zemu who was around 30-years-old took charge of the family business and led it to great success. Market share of the company had skyrocketed under his leadership.
• He was known to be a merciless man, and he could do whatever he wanted in his way due to his status.
• Song Shenglan remembered from her memory that Yu Chenwei did not intent to enter Gong Zemu’s bathroom. She was interested in his nephew named Gong Minghan. She was here to look for him but she went into the wrong room and bumped into Gong Zemu who was taking a shower.
