Chapter 28

• "What do you mean suspect? This must be a mistake detective" I say, he looked liked whatever I said to him would just go into one ear and out the other.
• "I was with my mother the night of the murder, I watched the murderer shoot her down," I protested, the memory of that night creeping into my mind. From what I've heard, if Reynolds pegged you as a suspect in a case he would stop at nothing to pin you down "I was the one who called the police." I admit.
• He furrows his eyebrows in confusion "You called the police? When? We haven't gotten any call regarding a murder for the last two weeks"
