Chapter 5 Behave Or I Will End You
- Ghost? I need to make use of this.
- “Where have you seen a ghost as hot as I?” He Yanfeng joined Tang Xuchun on the couch. Leaning toward her, he left her little room to retreat.
- Tang Xuchun almost lost herself upon hearing his magnetic, husky voice. It took her a moment to recognize the familiarity of this voice.
- She timidly raised her head. In the obscure, moonlit room, she was able to recognize the face.
- The man from last night! Holy moly! Why is he here? Is he a spirit or a human?
- Wait! Am I dreaming? But my cheek hurts...
- Tang Xuchun was evidently worked up. Her heart pounding in her chest, she furrowed her brows and stared at He Yanfeng angrily.
- “Why are you here?” Although her soft voice broke, it didn’t stop her from expressing her anger.
- “You fraud. Where’s my money? I shall haunt you until I get it.” He Yanfeng could not see her face clearly, but he could still sense her irritation from her clear, blazing eyes.
- “Wh-what money?” Tang Xuchun curled into a ball, knowing she was in the wrong as she stared at the approaching man.
- She hurriedly continued, “Oh! I remember now. Seeing as you scared me to death earlier, I’ll say that we’re even now. Okay?” Despite her nerves, she still managed to put up a strong front.
- I need to save the money for Grandma’s medical bills. I even lost fifty this morning! I’m too broke to be paying him now.
- He Yanfeng was amused.
- We’re even now?
- “Nah. I performed five times. Does that mean I have to scare you five times for us to be even?”
- When it came to craftiness, Tang Xuchun was no match for He Yanfeng at all.
- Five times... What nonsense.
- “Wh-what do you mean by per-performing f-five times?”
- Tang Xuchun stuttered as her face turned as red as a tomato. She was secretly glad that it was too dark for it to be noticeable.
- “Have you forgotten? Maybe I should help you jog your memory,” suggested He Yanfeng deviously in a flirtatious tone.
- Tang Xuchun’s ears started to burn. Under his spell, her mind went blank.
- She picked up the pillow, mustered up her energy and shoved it on He Yanfeng’s fiendish face.
- “You jerk! You’re in my dream. Mine! You don’t get to bully me!” Not only did she treat him like a stranger, but she also denied their night of intimacy.
- After all, she was a married woman now. It wouldn’t do her any good if word got out that they had spent the night together.
- Besides, he was the one who forced himself on her when all she wanted were a few suggestive photos!
- In that case, he still owes me. I have to silence him! I will silence him!
- This b*stard. Who gives you the balls to taunt me in my dream?
- Tang Xuchun was so furious that she gritted her teeth.
- He Yanfeng was thrown off by this sudden attack.
- This woman adopts a different personality every day.
- She was a foxy one yesterday, but today she has turned into a tigress.
- He Yanfeng smacked the pillow away, seized Tang Xuchun’s hands, and pulled her in to sit on his lap.
- Tang Xuchun was stunned.
- How dare you bully me in my dream! I’m going to fight you!
- “Woman! Behave or I’ll end you!” He Yanfeng’s face darkened as he stared at the crazed woman in front of him.
- You maniac. I’ve never met any woman like you. This must be a prank from my brother.
- The way Tang Xuchun came at him was like a provoked lioness.
- She remained ruthless even though her hands were restrained. He Yanfeng had to roll over to pin her onto the couch.
- In the darkness, Tang Xuchun was seemingly losing this battle.
- Despite the crushing pressure on top of her, she struggled and kicked her legs around, refusing to surrender.
- He Yanfeng’s breathing gradually turned heavy. He held her arms above her head as he took control of her legs.
- Tang Xuchun’s body was still restless. She had always been a strong-willed person. Even though He Yanfeng had control over her limbs, he had no control over her temper. Clenching her jaw, Tang Xuchun went with the last resort. She bumped his head with her forehead like a crazed bull that had seen red.
- I don’t care! Worst-case scenario: I’ll bring you down with me.
- He Yanfeng was caught off guard by the loud bang and the hard object that collided against his head.
- “Sh*t... it hurts,” Tang Xuchun muttered. She was caught off guard by the pain as well. The room started to spin as she shut her eyes and fell backward onto the couch.
- The whole world quieted down. Even He Yanfeng’s own breathing suddenly became too loud.
- Seeing stars, he felt dizzy as well. His grip on Tang Xuchun’s hands loosened slightly.
- “You lunatic!” He Yanfeng muttered under his breath.
- Tang Xuchun, on the other hand, wasn’t as lucky. She had passed out from her own attack.
- “Hey, wake up!” He Yanfeng was speechless at Tang Xuchun’s attitude, “Damn, aren’t you a handful.”
- He pinched her cheeks again to wake her but she remained unconscious.
- This was the first defeat He Yanfeng had ever experienced in his life.
- “Have you fainted?” He continued to pinch her cheeks forcefully.
- But there was no response from her.
- Out of ideas, He Yanfeng thought of calling the butler over.
- On second thought, he was sure that Tang Xuchun’s scream was heard outside. To have the butler find her unconscious...
- He Yanfeng knew that it would make him look like a beast preying upon a harmless woman. Hence, even though he was still frustrated, he picked Tang Xuchun up, removed her wedding gown, and tossed her onto the bright red bed.
- Yup. Toss her like a piece of trash.
- After that, He Yanfeng lay down to get some shut-eye as well.
- A few seconds later, he rolled over and scooped the unconscious woman into his arms in dissatisfaction.
- “I’ll let you off the hook tonight, looney. We have our whole lives ahead of us, after all,” He Yanfeng whispered into her ear.
- Still, he planted a kiss on her smooth, fair neck.
- Never in a million years would Tang Xuchun have anticipated that her effort to escape her arranged marriage last night would end up leading her to the same man. Only now this man held a grudge against her!
