• Before boarding the plane, I had attempted to call Alex, but he didn't pick up. I was left with no choice but to leave him a message, stating that I was heading to Quakersville for a business trip. At that moment, I was sitting next to Nathan, feeling inexplicably uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the lunch prepared on the flight was seafood risotto, which I detested. I barely ate any of it.
