- We sprang apart. I adjusted my clothes even though they weren’t rumpled, my heart thumping in my chest at the realization that we almost got caught. What if I hadn’t locked the door? Why had I locked the door anyway?
- Andre didn’t put his shirt on. He stepped back and waited for me to finish fidgeting with my clothes then once I moved away from the door he shoved a hand through his hair releasing a heavy sigh before opening the door.
- Siobhan was in his arms in seconds. “Hey, babe,” she started to kiss him when she noticed me standing there. “Oh, Bianca luv, you’re here.”
