Chapter 10 The Pretentious B*tch’s Facade
- Shao Zhehao was already in his fourth year, and Xiao Yufei was in the same year as he was.
- Zhuo Anran brought Mu Xitong to Shao Zhehao’s classroom. Shao Zhehao was leaving school early today.
- “Shao Zhehao, you son of a b*tch! Come out right now!” Zhuo Anran yelled loudly.
- They attracted a lot of attention along the way.
- “Yufei, hurry up! Zhuo Anran is taking Mu Xitong to go find Shao Zhehao,” Pei Shanshan said.
- “Yeah! Hurry up!” Zhou Yuqing echoed.
- Once she heard that, Xiao Yufei didn’t even bother to pack up and immediately ran to Shao Zhehao’s classroom.
- Shao Zhehao frowned once he heard Zhuo Anran’s voice and stopped what he was doing, then walked to the classroom door.
- “What are you doing?” Shao Zhehao said in a displeased tone.
- “Shao Zhehao, you bastard! How dare you bully Xitong?” Zhuo Anran cursed loudly.
- “Anran!” Mu Xitong called out.
- “Don’t be scared,” Zhuo Anran said.
- “Zhuo Anran, what are you doing making a fuss here with Mu Xitong?” Shao Zhehao demanded in a low voice.
- “Damn, you’re still so self-righteous?” Zhuo Anran asked.
- “The one I like is Xiao Yufei, not Mu—”
- Slap!
- The people around them looked at Zhuo Anran and Mu Xitong. She had actually hit someone in broad daylight and in a classroom, too.
- Shao Zhehao was shocked by the slap, but gathered himself and looked at Zhuo Anran with a stony expression.
- He was the heir of the Shao Group and he couldn’t believe he was actually slapped in front of so many people.
- And this scene was seen by Xiao Yufei, who then rushed in front of Zhuo Anran and slapped her back when she wasn’t paying attention.
- Slap!
- “Anran!” Mu Xitong shouted.
- The people around them felt that it was more entertaining than watching a TV drama.
- “Xiao Yufei!” Zhuo Anran yelled.
- “You were the one who slapped Zhehao first.” Xiao Yufei said.
- Zhuo Anran looked at Xiao Yufei and reached out her hands to pull at her hair. The two of them started fighting.
- “Xiao Yufei, you b*tch! You knew Mu Xitong was dating Shao Zhehao and yet you went to seduce him! How can you be so shameless?” Zhuo Anran scolded, not caring about her image.
- When Mu Xitong saw this, her hands tightened into fists.
- “Enough!” Mu Xitong yelled loudly.
- At the sound of Mu Xitong’s voice, only then did the two of them let each other go.
- “Zhehao.” Xiao Yufei felt wronged.
- “Don’t be afraid.” Shao Zhehao comforted her.
- “Shao Zhehao, you jerk. I must have been blind in the start to matchmake you and Mu Xitong,” Zhuo Anran spat.
- Shao Zhehao did not answer Zhuo Anran and turned to look at Mu Xitong instead.
- “Mu Xitong, I have already told you. The person I like is your sister, so stop troubling Xiao Yufei,” Shao Zhehao said coldly.
- Mu Xitong couldn’t believe what she had just heard and her eyes filled with sorrow.
- “I’m sorry, Mu Xitong. Pretty please, don’t be angry anymore,” Xiao Yufei pleaded, her tone dripping with insincerity.
- “Sh*t! You sure are good at acting, Xiao Yufei,” Zhuo Anran mocked.
- “Anran, leave it.” Mu Xitong stopped her.
- Xiao Yufei looked at Mu Xitong. With a glance at the amount of students watching them, she came up with a scheme.
- Xiao Yufei let go of Shao Zhehao’s hand and came to face Mu Xitong, gripping her hands tightly.
- “Mu Xitong, please stop ignoring me. I really love Zhehao, but if you love him so much, I’ll return him to you,” Xiao Yufei said in a saccharine tone.
- “Xiao Yufei, what are you saying? You’re the one I love,” Shao Zhehao refuted.
- Mu Xitong and Zhuo Anran watched Xiao Yufei, thinking that she should be an actress at this point.
- It was this scene that made all the students around them think that Mu Xitong was the one pestering Shao Zhehao.
- “Mu Xitong, seeing as Shao Zhehao doesn’t like you, please stop pestering him,” Pei Shanshan scoffed.
- “Exactly, unless you like being the other woman,” Zhou Yuqing added.
- “……”
- The room was silent.
- Everyone was supporting Xiao Yufei.
- They thought Xiao Yufei was a warm and forgiving woman, whereas Mu Xitong was a woman who constantly hung onto other people’s boyfriends.
- When Zhuo Anran heard that, she put her hands on her hips as she looked at them.
- “Do you believe that I will rip your mouths to shreds right now?” Zhuo Anran shrieked like a mad woman.
- Xiao Yufei smiled inwardly when she heard the whispers around them.
- “Let go of me,” Mu Xitong demanded coldly.
- “Yufei, come here,” urged Shao Zhehao.
- “No. If Mu Xitong doesn’t forgive me, I’m not going to let go.” Xiao Yufei was being stubborn.
- Mu Xitong looked at Xiao Yufei, then extended her hands and flung Xiao Yufei’s hands away.
- Xiao Yufei looked at Mu Xitong and the corners of her mouth lifted into a sinister smile.
- “Ah!”
- Xiao Yufei purposely fell onto the floor. Seeing that, Shao Zhehao immediately went forward and pushed Mu Xitong aside, causing her to stumble a few steps.
- “Xitong, are you okay?” Zhuo Anran asked.
- “I’m fine,” Mu Xitong said calmly.
- Shao Zhehao helped Xiao Yufei get up and looked at Mu Xitong with displeasure.
- “Mu Xitong, despite everything, she is still your sister. How can you be so harsh?” Shao Zhehao berated her coldly.
- “Zhehao, I’m fine.” Xiao Yufei brushed it off.
- Zhuo Anran watched the two of them, extremely tempted to go up and slap them in their faces.
- “Well, say whatever you like. I’m already used to it anyway,” Mu Xitong said calmly.
- Mu Xitong looked at Shao Zhehao, her gaze filled with complicated emotions.
- “Anran, let’s go.” Mu Xitong just didn’t have the energy anymore.
- “Okay.” Zhuo Anran noded.
- Right as they were about to leave, Zhuo Anran suddenly stopped in her tracks and ran to face Shao Zhehao and Xiao Yufei.
- “I wish you b*tches a long life together and that you go broke ASAP.” Zhuo Anran laughed in their faces.
- She then ran back to Mu Xitong’s side without looking at Shao Zhehao and Xiao Yufei’s expressions.
- Shao Zhehao looked at the students gathered around them and felt even more annoyed.
- “What are you looking at?!” Shao Zhehao yelled suddenly.
- Everyone got a shock and quickly scattered, walking into their classrooms.
- “I’m sorry, Zhehao,” Xiao Yufei apologized.
- “Silly girl,” Shao Zhehao said softly.
- On the other side, Mu Xitong and Zhuo Anran were talking.
- “Mu Xitong, don’t be sad. You will be fine in the future without that son of a b*tch Shao Zhehao.” Zhuo Anran comforted her.
- “Anran, I just feel like no matter how much I give in, Xiao Yufei will still find thousands of ways to target me. I really don’t know what I did wrong.” Mu Xitong couldn’t understand.
- When Zhuo Anran heard Mu Xitong’s words, she tenderly hugged Mu Xitong.
- Zhuo Anran was older than Mu Xitong by three years, and she knew how much the other girl was going through at this age.
- At the age of seventeen, she had already experienced things that normal seventeen-year-olds had never gone through before.
- Ring—
- “Let me take the call,” Zhuo Anran said.
- “Okay.” Mu Xitong nodded.
- “Hi mom.” Zhuo Anran answered the phone.
- Mu Xitong didn’t know what was said on the other side, but Zhuo Anran looked anxious.
- “Alright, I got it,” Zhuo Anran replied.
- Mu Xitong looked at Zhuo Anran, thinking it was something serious.
- “Xitong, I have something important to do at home. I can’t walk you back today,” Zhuo Anran said after she hung up.
- “I’m not a three-year-old. Also, what do you mean you can’t? You always leave midway while walking me,” Mu Xitong said while pouting.
- Zhuo Anran scratched her head and smiled sheepishly.
