His words were barely convincing, yet Sarah found comfort within them. She was desperate for something…anything to soothe her and that just happened to do the trick.
Earlier, it didn't strike her at all that he was talking about their little argument that occurred just before it all went downhill...Frankly, nothing striked her at the moment. It was as if everything around her was the background of a large picture while Damon resided at the forefront.
