Chapter 73 Fighting

• Ruby sprang to the ground in front of me, and raised her bow and arrows against the group of men in black. Some of them fell to the ground after being shot, while others continued to rush forward with their weapons. I leaned back against Ruby, holding in my hand the short dagger she had given me to fight the enemy.
• The enemy were far outnumbered by us, and my wounds, not yet sufficiently healed, limited my movements. By the time Ruby's arrows were finished, I was exhausted.
