Chapter 29 Heaven Can Wait

• Killian didn’t come out of his room for the rest of the day. After the dolphin show, they came back to the house and Killian went straight to his room. He worked all through the day, even missing the dinner reservation that Caspian had made. Caspian, Audrey, and Benji went to town for dinner and Caspian stayed back. He couldn’t care less even if it was his birthday, he didn’t feel the need to celebrate.
• It was just a day like any other day to him. Work was more important. Work was where he found his value. It was no wonder he could never maintain a healthy relationship. Even though Killian enjoyed being in a relationship, unlike Caspian who preferred his freedom, Killian couldn’t maintain one long enough because at the end of the day, the girls didn’t get the attention they wanted. They always said that Killian was too cold and calculative, he never opened up enough, and he never let anyone in. Maybe that was his one and only similarity to his brother.
