Chapter 26 His Naked Body

• Jay’s POV
• “Jessie, it’s not what you think. Listen to me. I dropped off clothes and a sweater for Piper because I thought she must not have brought clothes and a sweater in this cold weather. However, when I knocked on her door several times, there was no answer from inside. Finally, I tried to open the door to her room and found that she hadn’t locked it. After putting the clothes and sweater on the bed, I heard the water faucet running continuously, but Piper didn’t answer at all, even though the bathroom door was slightly open. I decided to approach the bathroom door and found water pouring out of the bathroom. I panicked and spontaneously opened the bathroom door and I saw Piper lying in the bathtub with her eyes closed and her mouth almost drowned. I quickly lifted her out of the bathtub and laid her on the bed. What followed was a misunderstanding. I respect her. So, does my daughter still misunderstand?” I asked as I stroked the back of her hand.
• Jessie shook her head and smiled. “Did Piper pass out in the bathtub?”
