• "Yes," Kalvin's direct response shocked Kylie. She never thought that Kalvin had any feelings for her. He was just a good friend for her.
• "Why didn't you pursue her then?" Mae asked again, her expression was serious. For a moment Kylie had a thought that Mae was doing it all with some purpose but she pushed that thought away.
