Chapter 15 Duties Of A Wife

• I watched her walking to her room, dragging her numb body. It was hard for her to balance her body in between her loud sobs but she deserved it. I walked to my bar and gulped down a few glasses of vodka. The burning sensation in my throat helped me distract my mind from thinking about her.
• I could still hear her sobs coming from the room, I waited until the sobs faded away. I slowly walked to her room and opened the door a bit to peek inside. She was curled up naked in the middle of the bed. I sighed hard before entering the room, pulled the comforter over her body, turned off the light, and left her room.
