Chapter 11

• I left home when Gonzalo called me informing me that they had arrested Arturo Fonseca. The idiot was staying in my facilities, and he also had a suitcase with all the money I had given him to pay his debts, as well as the money I gave him for Andrea's operation. He never had any intention of sending her to operate.
• I wanted to run out and smash his face in, but my condition as an invalid prevented me, so I preferred not to see him and let Gonzalo take care of all that; but he did tell me one thing, those affected had to declare, which in this case were Andrea and Helen.
