• In the early dawn of a new day, I sat on my chair inside my study room. I didn’t sleep all night. I couldn’t. Not when I haven’t gotten any feedback back from Romano, speaking with Alejandro’s people about our intention of forming an alliance with them.
• The only thing that kept me calm right now was knowing Danica was fine. After I’d missed her call yesterday, I called her back. I could sense from her voice she already thought I intentionally ignored her call. I know it’s going to take a while and a lot of proving myself to fully convince her. That’s why I’d made arrangements this morning for a star necklace pendant to be delivered to her.
