• As Eddie's body covered mine, I could distinctly hear the faint sound of a phone ringing. I ignored it and pulled him closer to myself.
• He groaned low in his throat, whispering my name like a prayer as the fire between us burned hotter. The sound of the ringing phone grew louder and louder, until I could no longer ignore it. I tore my mouth from Eddie's, panting heavily. He continued kissing me, planting little kisses down my neck as I tried to look around for the ringing phone.
