Amelia’s POV
Eddie and I smiled at how Chloe ran into her room. I asked her if I should follow her into her room to tuck her in but she rejected my offer, telling me that she was a big girl and could tuck herself in. I laughed out loud after hearing what she said and then Eddie asked me to take my seat beside him after making sure that Chloe was fast asleep.
I did as he said and wondered what he wanted to talk about. He stared at me for a while without saying a word and as I was about to say something, he hushed me up with a kiss. His lips were so soft and I craved for more. He kissed me deeper and then I started reciprocating his kisses. Just then I thought about how Chloe had caught us hugging each other earlier and I had to pull him away.
