• “It's not, give in Ruth,” he persuaded her into accepting, she pushed him and mouthed some gibberish, and all of a sudden she was mute.
• “Ruth?“ He called out to her but received no response, he realized that she had fallen asleep. He shook his head and took off her shoes, and he went to the bathroom and brought a bowl containing water and a cloth, he cleaned her face and hands.
