- "I wish Maddie was here with us." I was a little sad; we always did everything together.
- "Me too, Bree; I miss her already. I just wish whatever fight she has, Dylan would be resolved.” Sofie sighs, and I nod, agreeing with her.
- Maddie wasn't coming with us. Her phone wasn't going through, so we decided to go ourselves. We got into Sofie's car and drove off to school.
