Chapter 48 Binge Drinking at the Bar

• When Iris ran out from the cocktail party in tears, Louis happened to witness everything from where he stood by the entrance. He didn’t know what happened at first. However, he seemed to understand the situation immediately when he saw Melody and Lucas walking out of the restroom, one after the other, a short while later. Therefore, he rushed out without any hesitation and closely followed behind Iris. He was afraid that something might happen to her in her distressed state. Besides, he wasn’t bothered by Melody’s behavior at all since he wasn’t interested in that woman in the first place.
