Chapter 15 He’s Peculiar

• Iris felt a lot more at ease after coming out of the luxurious room. Earlier, she felt like she was close to suffocating in there. While she was being defiant toward the end, she had actually felt incredibly nervous on the inside.
• She was afraid that Lucas would take coercive measures against her and make it impossible for her to get away tonight. Fortunately, he let her go for the time being.
• But, where could she go now? She and Dexter did have a house, but that house was more or less in ruins now. Furthermore, she did not want to go back and face her father since there was nothing she could say, and it would be eternally awkward.
