• He walked fast, his thoughts alternating between how he would treat his Madam exactly the way she had treated him and who he could possibly turn to for help. If ever a man had blue balls, Okon was that man and the pain had even reached as far as his pride. But revenge would have to be suspended until the next opportunity. For now, the focus must be taking care of this emergency. He reached into his pocket for his phone and scrolled through his contacts just as he stepped outside the house through the back gate.
• This gate was always kept locked from the inside and was meant to be used only during a serious emergency situation. If Madam were to find out that he had used it, all hell would break loose. But Okon did not care. This problem of his was also an emergency and created by Madam too. He came to a halt as he found the number he was searching for. This was the closest and safest option at such a time. It was dark already, so being quick, discreet and careful was a must. He called the number immediately and waited impatiently as it rang. Will the damn thing not pick up the phone?! Just then, the ringing stopped and he heard a quiet "Hello" in a faint whisper from the other end.
