• Those words kept ringing in my ears as I swiftly turned around. An omega was abducted. A chill ran down my spine as I realised the graveness of the situation. If they were ready to break in and take our pack members, the war was not far away.

• Shaking my head, I focused on my erratic breathing, sweat droplets dripping down the forehead. I found skidding to a halt in front of the wooden door, a gush of dirt flying into the air as I almost drifted.
