• I closed the distance between us to step in front of him. Just being this close to him, my body already yearned for his touch. Just the tip of his finger, a slight touch and I knew that I'd maybe lose my mind, so I braced myself for impact.
• He towered over me. I had to tilt my head back to look into his face and see the hunger in those beautiful eyes of his, the way the lights danced in them and how his pupils dilated.
• He's never been covert. That's something else about him that's new for me. Usually, boys dance in circles around me, but Nolen knows what he wants, and he's not afraid to say or show it.
