• Lorenzo’s POV.
• I stood by the transparent wall, watching the mass of water that surrounded the island. My mind kept drifting to the woman I had kept captive. I had made it seem to her like she had a choice, given her a chance to make a choice which would be difficult to choose, but I knew that regardless of what she chose, I was still going to keep her here until she realized I don’t easily let go of what was mine.
• I had given her a whole day to think about her decisions and I knew what she was going to choose. She hated to admit it, but it was obvious. She was attracted to me in every way. I noticed the yearn in her gaze when she looked at me, but the sting of betrayal that came from me kidnapping her kept a veil on her desires.
