• I stood in the middle of the luxurious gray room with my body trembling. While Leopold continued to curse harshly, expressing his anger by destroying his private room. To be honest, I was afraid to see this creepy side of Leopold, but I stood up for him. I held back my tears, hoping that the antiques he threw in random directions wouldn't hit me.
• Leopold threw the last of his dragon jars against the wall behind me, then approached me. “Serena, my one and only, please tell me the truth. Don't hide your feelings,” he hissed, but there was a strong urgency in his voice.
