Chapter 44 Adrian Meet Ashley

• There was a small knock on the door. Ashley knew immediately who it was. It was part of his daily routine. True to his words he cared for her just like he said he would. It didn't matter that she told him repeatedly that she was fine and she could care for herself. At some point she stopped complaining and let him do as he pleased. Maybe it was his way of healing, she couldn't tell but she also loved every moment she spent with him. They had bonded well over the few days they spent together and she found herself missing him anytime he had to go to work.
