Chapter 22 Recovery

• Ashley gingerly unpacked the box Leonard had gifted her. She had refused to take it in the first place but he had insisted that she took it. She brought out an eggplant shade of purple velvet dress. She admired it, inside was a pair of white heels and a white clutch.
• She got into the shower and let the hot water cascade down her body. She had been in a sore mood since Mrs Denver’s demise. Leonard and been an absolute sweetheart, using all the ways in the book to cheer her up but nothing seemed to work at all.
