Chapter 39 Inebriated

• Angela peered at her reflection in the vanity mirror. She had dyed her hair a stylish sun bleached blonde. It was curled like ocean waves. Her pale look was a sharp contrast from her usual dark look. She picked up a hair brush and gingerly brushed her hair. She picked up a mascara and flicked her long false lashes. She had spent a day at the beauty spa. She picked up a deep red lipstick and applied it on her lips. She smacked her lips, it slowly curved into a wide smile as she stared in vain admiration of her reflection in the mirror. She adjusted her lingerie, showing an insane amount of cleavage. It was a lace see through material, with flowery patterns covering her private areas.
• She got to her feet and lit the candles, she poured wine in two glasses, she took a sip of one of the glasses, smearing her red lipstick on it. She thought for a moment, she walked towards the cupboard and opened one of the drawers. She rummaged inside then she brought out a pill. She considered taking out two but she settled for one and slipped it into the other glass. She watched the pill slowly dissipate before she heard a knock on the door. She was startled, she poured more wine into the glass. She gently shook the glass in a bid to mix it up. She grabbed her robe and draped it around her shoulders and walked towards the door.
• Henry was surprised when she opened the door. It took him a moment to realise it was the blonde hair. It reminded him of someone, it didn't help that she was barely clad. “You should lose the colour” he pointed at her hair.
