- I sighed as I plucked the last leaf off the rose, deciding it wasn’t a date after all. Leo had asked me to meet him at a café, and for what reason, I didn’t know. My mind was still spinning from the night before—Tiana’s hushed conversation in the alley, Leo’s urgent warning, and my own stubbornness to uncover the truth.
