Georgina gave no sign of surprise, her expression calm as though she had anticipated every word. "When Yoana and Harold first met, they rushed into marriage. I knew right away—it wasn't real. It was just a forced arrangement. I don't know Yoana, but I know my son. Since you and Yoana have feelings for each other, I'll help. I'll speak with her father. I can't guarantee anything, but at least I'm not asking you to help me for nothing."
Lukas let out a quiet breath, relief flooding him. With Aunt Georgina's support, he knew the rest was in fate's hands.
