Chapter 54 Reconciliation
- I immediately stood up when I saw Mr. Gregory Moon at the entrance of my dad's funeral. Behind him was a man wearing a black suit with a pair of white gloves, the wrinkles on his face were visible, and I think he's in his mid-40s. At his side was a flower which I thought they would offer for my dad.
- Gregory motioned the man behind him to put the flower beside my dad's coffin. The latter followed Mr. Gregory's orders. Mr. Gregory walked towards me. "Chairman," I greeted him and bowed my head to show my respect.
- "I heard about your father's passing. Condolences to your family." I was stunned by what he said. I never thought that this man would come and show his sincere sympathy towards me.
