Chapter 17 At My Parents' House

• The weekend has finally come, and it is my day off. I have so much planned for today. I am cleaning my condo, going to the grocery, and visiting my parents. Just as planned, I woke up early and did my morning rituals, and ate my breakfast. I was cleaning when my phone rang. I smiled when I saw who called.
• “Mom!” I squealed when I answered her call.
• “Geez... Ashley, can you lower down your voice? You almost broke my eardrums.” Mom complained, but I just chuckled.
