• Mr. Dawson immediately urged, “What’s that?”
• “Haven’t you heard? Hoffman Group is about to acquire K2TV,” informed Natalie as she sipped some fragrant tea, “If everything goes smoothly, Mr. Hoffman will be the station’s boss, and that would make him my boss. Hence, we aren’t completely out of touch.”
• If Natalie had blatantly said that there was nothing between her and Sebastian, Mr. Dawson would’ve reverted to ignoring her and being a bully. On the other hand, pointing out that Sebastian was her boss would prompt Mr. Dawson to at least be polite.
