Chapter 424 Late Night Fever
- When Sam Gilbert woke up, Natalie Cook was still sound asleep. He reached out and touched her forehead, relieved to find that the fever had subsided. He let out a sigh of relief.
- He withdrew his arm from under Natalie Cook's head, got out of bed, and stretched his neck, which had become sore from leaning against the headboard all night. Rubbing his neck, he walked over to the floor-to-ceiling window, lifted the curtain slightly, glanced at the weather, and then let it fall back down.
- Downstairs, inside a parked Mercedes on the small road, a man sitting in the back seat frowned slightly when he saw Sam Gilbert's figure in the second-floor room. His face darkened.
