• After leaving the counter area on the first floor, Natalie Cook took the elevator straight to the third floor. She had been browsing casually, but unexpectedly ended up in the children's and maternity section.
• As she watched the people coming and going, many of them accompanied by their parents, a hint of loneliness flashed in her eyes. Just as she was about to leave the third floor, she caught sight of the woman she had encountered earlier at Sebastian Hoffman's office door.
• The woman was followed by a middle-aged woman, who was carrying several shopping bags, presumably a maid from her household.
