Chapter 4 He Looks Like You—Is He Your Son?
- Tang Ze had a great time at the amusement park today. Compared to the distressing mature look he always put on, he looked more like a child now, laughing so merrily as if he didn’t have a care in the world.
- The three of them returned to the parking lot after having their fun. Tang Jing carried Tang Ze and waited at the parking lot’s exit for her brother to drive over. Just then, a Maserati owner was attracted by her tall, slim figure and honked at her a few times. “Hey, gorgeous. Do you want to join me?”
- Tang Jing smiled at the handsome lad in the car. Before she could say anything, Tang Ze, who was in her arms, replied, “It’s okay. Someone is picking up my mommy!”
- Damn, this little brat!
- Jiang Xie was just about to say that it was a pity for such a beautiful lady to be married with kids, but when he saw Tang Ze’s face, he was stunned to the ground!
- He put his head out of the window and stared at Tang Ze, while the boy stared back at him. “Little brat, what did you say?”
- How could this kid look… exactly like Bo Cheng?
- It must have been a mistake! Where did this kid, who looks so much like him, suddenly pop up from? It couldn’t be Bo Cheng’s previous romantic debts, could it?
- Jiang Xie immediately turned around and looked at Tang Jing’s face. The next moment, he finally recalled who she was!
- Five years ago, before he came to Hai Town, he heard about the big news—Hai Town’s Young Master, Bo Cheng, placed law over family and sent his own wife to jail.
- Who was his wife? She was the Young Miss Tang of Hai Town, the extremely talented and proud Tang Jing!
- Jiang Xie was still stunned when Tang Yi drove up and, seeing that he was blocking the road and not leaving, honked. Only then did Jiang Xie snapped back to reality, and he glared at Tang Ze again.
- He really wasn’t imagining things. Damn, they are so alike! I wouldn’t believe it if someone tells me he’s not Bo Cheng’s son!
- Thus, Jiang Xie secretly took a photo, and drove off in a rush. From the rearview mirror, he could see that Tang Jing got into the car behind him. He recorded the plate number and sent a message to his best friend using one hand.
- Jiang Xie: “Cheng, Cheng! Do you f*cking have a kid out there, wandering the streets?”
- Bo Cheng: “… Are you drunk?”
- Jiang Xie sent him the photo straight away, in which Tang Jing was seen standing by the road with Tang Ze in her arms. She was tall and slim, and her hair was lifted by the evening breeze as the sun set behind her. She was smiling at the kid in her arms, her features delicate, as always, and her expression peaceful.
- Within seconds, a call came in. Jiang Xie picked up the phone only to hear Bo Cheng bellowing on the other end, “Where did you see this?”
- “The Happy Valley!” Jiang Xie reported the license plate number so Bo Cheng could run it. He then continued, “They got into this car! Gosh, I was shocked at first glance and only remembered who she was after a while. I have to say, that stinky brat looks exactly like you! I won’t believe that he is not your son!”
- Bo Cheng, who was on the other end, hung up at once and ordered someone to run the plate number while grabbing his phone tightly, unable to tell whether it was out of excitement or anger. Bo Cheng’s expression turned eerily dark.
- Tang Jing! How dare you deliver my child in secret!
- It had been five years, and he knew nothing about having a kid with Tang Jing! All along, he had only wanted to have a child with An Qing, but their child would never come back… along with An Qing…
- When did Tang Jing deliver this child…? Was it when she was in prison…?
- When he thought of prison, Bo Cheng’s eyes dimmed. It had been five years... Tang Jing had been in prison for five years.
