Chapter 5 The Fight

• Sam POV:
• I reached my home after those continuous stressful meetings throughout the day. And when I thought about the afternoon scenario, I’m really angry about Preethi’s behaviour, how can she behave like that to my employee.
• I don’t know what’s with this Preethi and Zina, they always think something is goings on between me and Hema.
• And that too, they know I only have eyes for Preethi. But what gotten into Preethi today why did she push Hema. And because of her reckless behaviour I have to let Hema take half day, since Hema sprained her ankle which resulted for me to take care of her work too.
• I entered my room and was about to remove my shirt, door was flung open, and there comes my sister, I know she will start shouting at me, Preethi must have informed her already and that’s why I ignored all her calls in the afternoon and now I can’t do that I guess.
• “ stop there my jerk Anna”WHAT did she call me now?
• “ watch your words Zina, do you have a death wish”
• “ no, I think it’s you who is having the death wish” she glared at me.
• “What’s wrong Zina?” I asked with tiredness all over.
• “what do you mean what’s wrong? Don’t you remember what you have done?”
• “ I know Preethi must have talked with you “
• “ Talk? She was crying all day Anna”
• “so? She did that to herself “
• “ Anna what do you mean? How come you became this jerk?”
• “Zina I’m really tired and you are talking nonsense. I don’t know what’s with you and Preethi, you both are making mountain out of molehill, even though you people know that I don’t have anything with Hema except employer employee relationship, you both are making fuss all the time”
• “ we are fussing?”
• “ yes. I can’t lose a good employee just for your stupid insecurities do you get that.”
• “ Anna you are really stupid, how come you became a CEO without even understanding people, that bitch broke your photo frame and Preethi confronted for that and that bitch played victim seeing you get inside the office room. “
• did she say I’m stupid and wait what she said, so Hema was the one who broke my fav picture?
• “WHAT?” I exclaimed
• “ did you even ask Preethi, what must have happened?”
• “ But why Hema would do that?”
• “ that you have to ask her, don’t you have surveillance camera inside your office room? Check it out and learn what must have happened actually”
• ” and yea by the way because of what you did to Preethi, she didn’t have her lunch and was crying all day, got fever may be hospitalized and I’m sure she would have not had her dinner too” She said and left my room.
• Shit, did Preethi got fever and what’s with this picture frame breaking and everything. Oh.. I think as Zina said I should check the footage.
• I played the footage in my phone and got to know the situation, oh God, what a fool I am, I didn’t even let my Preethi to talk about what happened and got into a conclusion.
• God I have to see Preethi now and ask for her forgiveness and also my first work tomorrow is to fire that bitch.
• I grabbed my bike keys and left to Preethi’s house. After an hour of drive I reached Preethi’s house.
• I knocked on Preethi’s house, aunty unlocked the door and looked at me with a questioning look of what I’m doing at this late hour.
• “ I’m sorry for disturbing your sleep aunty, actually I forgot to give a gift for Preethi in the afternoon that I had for her.”
• “ son you don’t have to make a story, I can see from your face that you people must have got into fight and you want to clear up the situation”
• “ hehe sorry aunty, but how come you get to know this just by reading my face “
• “ haha well not just by your expression, if Preethi is angry she will eat a lot you know, she was eating all day all the junk foods, so I thought she is angry with someone and your arrival at this hour confirmed it”
• I gave her an embarrassed look and went upstairs. There she was watching movie and eating potato chips. And what did that devil Zina said, she got fever and she didn’t eat food and was crying all day.

• Preethi POV:
• Zee called an hour ago saying she scolded his brother and also lied to him that I’m having fever and didn’t have my food all day. I laughed because even if the world comes to an end I will not stop eating. Food is everything hehe.
• Hmmpf.. I’m running out of patience he still did not reached me yet.
• “ Preethi” I heard Sam voice and I looked up, wow he really came as Zina said.
• “ oh you came. Wow Mr. Sam that was impressive “ I mocked him.
• “ Dear I’m sorry “
• “ Oh no, I should only say sorry for behaving rudely at your employee and pushing her to fall down” with a sneer I said mockingly.
• “ baby I’m sorry see I was having a terrible headache from the meetings I had from the morning and when I entered the room and saw something like that I couldn’t think straight so I yelled at you” he said while rubbing his forehead and I can see the tiredness still and did he even eat his food?
• “ but I should have listened to you, it’s my mistake I’m sorry, please forgive me and tomorrow my first work is I’m going to fire her, how can she do such things and direct it towards my love of my life” there he is starting all the cheesy lines but actually I felt happy that he realised things, thanks to Zee.
• He looks attractive as always so I decided to forget things but still with a poker face,
• “ Ok ok fine I forgive you, now come here did you eat anything”
• “ No I didn’t even have my lunch” he looked at me with puppy eyes.. aww how can I stay angry with this handsome man of mine. He looks cute when he has that puppy face. I want to kiss his face all over but I have to compose myself.
• “ Oh baby.. wait here, I’ll go bring food for you “
• I ran to the kitchen and brought some chicken curry and rice for him. Also, I made him bed in the guest room for his night stay, he can’t travel at this late hour you know and he can’t also stay with me in the same room till our marriage.
• He retired to the room not before saying another sorry and pecking a kiss on my forehead, and a sweet goodnight.
