Chapter 4 Quiet Place

• Zina POV:
• Today’s my first day at my office yay.. I’m so excited, I got blessings from my parents and my siblings. Well I thought of getting only from my sister but that Sam he himself made his way stood before me and forced me to bow down, argh..
• But still I did because I can get blessings money from him as well hehe. Yea when we get blessings from our elders they have to give some money for us and so now I got more than my salary from them hehe.
• Now I arrived at my office in my silver coloured Vespa after parking it in underground parking lot, I entered the elevator.
• It reached to the ground floor and a girl entered. I looked at her and she also looked at me and smiled. I smiled back and noticed she was one of the candidates that attended interview with me.
• We talked inside the elevator, exchanged our names , her name is yoga and I found out she will also be in my department and she is also of my age. She looks calm and sweet not like me I guess hehe but still hope we will make good buddies.
• We got out of the elevator and went inside the office, there was lot of cabins, we don’t know who is our manager and we are supposed to report him soon.
• So we walked near a work bay, there was guy sitting working while singing, he was wearing spectacles and he is having spiked hairstyle. He must be 2 years at least elder to us.
• He noticed us and started talking as if he knows us for ages and he said we come to the right department and he showed a desk saying that’s the manager desk and he has gone to report to CEO office, so we sat near him since we don’t know what to do.
• I can see he is trying hard to project himself as a playboy haha. He told his name as Raghu and he started flirting with both yoga and me. He also informed us about the manager, asst.manager and TL.
• But he is actually a sweet and good guy, as he was telling us how to be around the grumpy TL and flirty asst.manager, our manager came back, we went and introduced us, he also brought us to our team introduced us.
• Soon it was lunch time, Raghu came up to us and offered to have lunch with him. So yoga and I went along with him to cafeteria.
• Yoga started ordering many items for both us and she left taking the food to a nearby table without paying, startled Raghu looked at us muttering curses he paid for our food and came to our table.
• Yoga gave him a child like smile “ Thanks Raghu anna, you are the best, I think we should have our lunch together from now on” saying that she gave me a wink.
• Now I understood for the torturing pick up lines he was throwing at us from the morning she took revenge. Whenever Raghu said something she replied back with the title ‘anna’, I thought its out of respect but from seeing his face, now I understood it is to annoy him for sure.
• No guy flirting with a girl likes to receive the title ‘anna’, Haha she is just like me, I should take back what I said before about her being a good girl.
• Raghu gave a horrified look and a pathetic smile. Haha I think this will be way too fun working with these people.
• One week later...
• I received a call from Preethi, she usually doesn’t call me in my working hours, when I attended she started crying.
• Despite how hungry and also mouth-watering chicken biriyani lunch is waiting for me , I got up and moved from there to talking with her on the phone.
• She didn’t stop crying, so I walked to a quiet place and video called her.
• “ Hey dear, what happened, why are you crying”
• “ I went to your bro’s office to give him his lunch that I prepared for him by myself “
• “ okay.. did he made fun of your lunch? If so tell me, I will teach him a lesson, how can he make fun of your cooking even though it may be saltless or too spicy or..”
• “ oh stopp it Zee, it’s not what happened, and by the way did you just made fun of my cooking.”
• “ hehe no no dear, how will I do that”
• “ Better be carefull, after marriage I will be cooking at home giving rest to aunty”
• “ oh no.. dear you don’t have to risk our lives... Umm I mean stress yourself, you are a princess you should not do such things”
• “ I heard what you said babe” she glared at me. Oops
• “ I told you just because to stop you cry, see you stopped, now tell me what happened” pfff that was close.
• “ Well.. when I entered, you won’t believe what I saw”
• “ WHAT ? did you see my brother making out with hema”
• “ Oh God are you really his sister and my friend “
• “ Hehe, so what happened baby. Tell me soon”
• “well.. your brother was in a meeting, so I entered his office to wait for him, but that bitch Hema was there looking at the picture of your brother and mine at his desk, she had this horrifying look and she said ‘I will not let her get you’ and saying that she broke that picture frame just like a villain in soap operas“
• “what?? No way. Did she really do that? “
• “ Yea its true Zee, I got mad seeing that, so I went and confronted her, I just scolded her you know. And my bad time, your brother somehow entered at that time, and she made an act and she fell down as if I made her and she got running out of the room crying. Your stupid brother without even asking what happened he scolded me and made me leave the office” Preethi started crying again.
• “ oh dear, I’m so sorry, see I know that Hema is not a good girl, and she has two face. And that’s why I asked you to tell my brother to sack her. Okay leave it baby, You don’t worry dear, I will talk to my stupid brother” I consoled her.
• We talked for some time, I somehow made her smile and hanged the call. Now I need to talk to this idiot brother. I called him for 5 times, and he kept declining, so I decided I will talk with him at home.
• After that when I turned around I realised, that I got lost while talking with Preethi and I don’t know where I’m at.
• I looked around, but only thing I saw was the mirrors. I called Raghu to let him come and get me, he asked which way I went and I told him the directions and he said he will be there in minutes.
• While waiting for him, I looked at the mirror, the white Kurti I’m wearing is a little low neck, and now it’s giving a good show of my assets. So, I removed my pink dupatta and adjusted my dress. I pinned my dupatta to cover it properly.
• By then Raghu came, “ hey piggy how come you get lost just like that, are you a child?”
• “ hehe I was on the phone,. I got lost while talking” I gave him a sheepish smile. He knocked on my head and dragged me by my arms to our floor.
• I looked back at the place and mentally noted down the route, it’s a beautiful place and it’s quiet place as well.
• I think, I will come to this place often to take rest.
