• "ABSOLUTELY not! I will never accept this guy to be your husband. You could do better, Latton," Albert angrily yelled. "If you could be with whomever you like, so do I. This is my choice." She screamed back. "You can say whatever you want but Victor and I are already married," She added sarcastically. Startled, Albert angrily stood up and hastily marched away from them. "Dad!" Victor shouted while staring at Albert's back. "Don't call me that," Albert replied, without looking back at them. Victor was about to follow Albert, but Latton held his hand. "Let him be," She remarked. Victor frowned, "He is already so angry he hasn't even heard the other news yet," he mumbled. Latton grins, "Oh, he will know soon." Victor sighed, "You're right. Everything takes time. After we eat, I have a surprise for you," he added. She smiled in excitement. - Meanwhile, Lucian had just finished his lunch-out meeting with a client in the Imperial Mall. He was walking when suddenly one of the clothes on display caught his attention as it reminded him of the red dress Latton wore at the Circle of Hope charity ball. He smiled bitterly and stared blankly at the dress, reminiscing how they danced together that night. He was about to leave when suddenly his eyes glanced past the dress and saw a familiar figure inside the shop. "Latton," he mumbled to himself. He lowered his head and then closed his eyes, thinking his mind was playing tricks on him, but when he glanced back she was still there. He felt everything slowed down and the only thing he could see was her. His hands started to tremble in excitement, and he couldn’t think straight. “What should I do?” “Should I say hi or say hello? Or maybe hey.” He asks himself. His heart was pounding loudly as if it wanted to jump out of his chest. He was about to walk inside, but before he did, he fixed his hair and clothes. It is obvious he is nervous. Anticipating her rage about disappointing her again after he swore he wouldn't hurt her. After mustering all his courage, he enters the boutique and slowly marches towards her. She turned around and stared directly at his eyes. “Lucian,” she mumbled in surprise. Her voice was like music to his ears and he was too stunned to speak. "What are you doing here?" She asks in confusion. He smiles, "Hi, long time no see. I'm here to buy some clothes," he mumbles softly. She smiled back, "It's been a long time. Are you planning to buy clothes for your girl," she asked nonchalantly while glancing at the different clothes on display. He shook his head and then noticed the boutique only sells women's clothing. He blushed in embarrassment, "No, I'm not." He sighed. "Well, you caught me. I'm following you again. I saw you, that's why I entered the shop." He explains. She laughs. "She's not mad?" he said to himself. "You're really weird sometimes. By the way, how are you?" She asks gleefully. "I'm doing good. I'm the new CEO of Caldwell Incorporated," he said proudly. She grins, "I know." His eyes light up, "You do?" he mumbles under his breath. "My husband told me," She replied calmly. His eyes widened in disbelief, "What?" He mumbled while laughing awkwardly and thought he misheard her. "Did you say, husband?" She nods. “But… But… why?” He asks in shock. She glanced at him in confusion, "What do you mean why?" He frowns and heaves profoundly, "I came inside you. On your mouth. On your face and chest." He says in a low voice as he inches closer to her. "Bite you." "Ate you." He mutters every word he spits with gritted teeth. "I've marked you several times." "You are mine." He declared as his eyes reddened. "How dare you get married?" He asks in dismay. "Answer me!!!" He yells while holding her shoulders tightly. His words made her speechless and the way he stared at her frightened her. “Lucian, you're hurting me,” she muttered weakly. Her voice brought him back to his senses and he instantly let go of her shoulder. “I’m sorry. I’m just…” He heaves deeply. He can’t breathe properly, the situation is too overwhelming for him and he clenches his chest, he feels that something is obstructing his heart from beating. Latton stared at him in confusion. “Your husband is Dolan,” he said with certainty. “That blue-eyed guy,” he thought to himself in anger. She shook her head. “Then who?” He asks in confusion. She smiles, her eyes shining in glee. He could see how happy she was just by thinking about her husband, and it made him drown in the sea of envy. “I married, Victor. Victor York.” She declared while smiling from ear to ear. His jaw dropped to the floor instantly. “Victor!?” He repeated, clearly surprised to know who it was. “Yes, I understand that you are shocked, everyone is and…” She paused, then lowered her gaze while smiling faintly. “I’m also still bewildered. I never thought that I'd end up with him. Given that we got on the wrong foot when we first met, I even threw a drinking glass at him. But what can I say? Love moves in mysterious ways.” He felt overwhelmed by her words. “You are lying,” he mumbles, his face expressing disbelief. She shook her head, "You might not believe it, but Victor is reliable. He is always there for me, when I need help, when I feel lost, and alone. When I thought everything was about to crush me. He’s there to help me, no questions asked." She explains. Her words left him dumbfounded and seeing he was not responsive. She continued shopping and took a few clothes with her to the fitting room. She was about to close the door when he pushed it open and closed it behind him. "Why did you marry him?" He inquired while inching closer to her. "Lucian, please back away," she requested. "Does he fuck you better than I do?" He asks angrily while holding her chin and squeezing her cheeks. "Does he do this to you better?" He says as he kisses her roughly. Soon he carried her and sat her on the table. She tried pushing him but he was too strong. "Lucian, stop." She mumbles under her breath. He grabbed her knees and forcefully spread her thighs. She tried kicking him, but he tightened his grip on her knees. Soon he starts, lifting her skirt and ripping her underwear. Shortly, he starts slapping her private parts. She trembled in pain and was about to shout, but he covered her mouth to muffle her voice. Her skin turned red and swollen. He bit her groin angrily as if he wanted to get a chunk out. She shrieks in agony, but her voice is too weak to be heard from outside. Her body trembles and her face shows no sign of getting pleasure out of it. When he removed his hand covering her mouth, she tried her best to talk sense into him, "Lucian, please stop! You’re hurting me." She says weakly. He ignored her plea. He started unbuckling his pants and was about to mercilessly penetrate her. When suddenly he heard her say, “Lucian, I’m pregnant.” He stopped then gasped, "No!" He yelled as he glanced at her belly and there he saw a small baby bump that he had missed noticing earlier. Her words weakened his knees, and slowly he sat on the chair while staring blankly at the floor. She witnesses how the rage he had earlier turns to a frown, to sorrow, then to devastation. She saw how Lucian Caldwell shed tears as he breathed deeply. "But the baby is ours, right? I’m the father." He asks with a hopeful gaze while his lips are trembling in uncertainty. She shook her head, “No! If I was pregnant with your baby, my stomach would be so big right now,” she explained. "Why would you do this to me? To us? I told you I needed to fix something. Why didn't you wait?" He states in exasperation. "What are you tal..." Before she could finish her question, they heard Victor's voice. "Latton, darling. Are you done fitting your new clothes?" Victor yelled. She gestured for Lucian to stay quiet. "5 more minutes please." She replied. Victor scoffed, "I'll wait for you on the couch outside," he replied and soon left. "I don't want any trouble, Lucian," She said while opening the door. He is too stunned to speak and stays seated on the chair while staring blankly at the wall.
