Chapter 63: The Promise

• "I promise I won't leave you" Lily assured him. She said the very word Kayden wanted to hear from her. Kayden Diego felt really excited at Lily's words. "Sure?"he asked, seeking for an affirmation.
• "Absolutely," she replied. Kayden Diego bent over and kissed her temple. "I love you very much," he confessed. He doesn't know this is how love makes someone behave. He never thought he would ever love anyone but alas, he fell in love with Lily and wished he had known and possibly loved her earlier. Perhaps this fear he's hiding in his heart wouldn't have been there.
• "I love you too," Lily replied and smiled quietly. Wasn't this the same lord Diego who once yelled at her and told her he doesn't want to talk to her. He now confesses his love to her and even made her promise not to leave him.
