Chapter 11: Furious

Lily was the first to finish her meal. She glanced at Kayden who sat on her right and teased " if we were in a competition, I definitely would win". But Kayden did not reply nor spare her a glance.
Justin had been stealing glances at his Lord and the woman by his side. Lord Kayden seemed uncomfortable with Lily's presence. The happy cheerful Alpha a while ago had now turned into an icy cold expressionless man.
Seeing Kayden ignored Lily. He felt the atmosphere become chilly with a compressed aura. To ease the tension, and not make Lily angry he jokingly asked "that's how Lord eats and I am beginning to adapt to his way too"
