• As Brice stood next to the sink in the trainer's lounge, a dark thought strolled into his mind. Brice didn’t know where to find Claymore Wicks. What if they never met again? Suddenly the should he see Clay again turned into would he ever see him again?
• “I was looking over the new list.” Essie’s words brought Brice out of his swirling thoughts. He turned to Nancy and Essie, still sitting at the table. “I heard we got some last-minute newbies. I think some of the names are familiar.”
• Brice walked back to the table and picked up his file. He had completely forgotten about Nancy and Essie and the fact that they were starting a new class of agents today.
