Chapter 25 Too Much To Bear

• The giant serpent was in a pitiful state. It was hissing in great agony, its tail showing a depression the size of a washbasin. The scales there had been completely shattered. Even its flesh and bone had been pulverized. Fresh blood was continuously gushing out from that area.
• Even a wound of that magnitude was too much for a formidable beast like the Black Blood Snake to bear.
• After suffering two major blows in a row, the Black Blood Snake grew cautious. It coiled its lower body into a tight ball while the upper part stood tall and erect. It continuously flicked its tongue in alert.
