Chapter 6 Fuck Them All

• POV(HANNAH),
• I headed straight to the hospital on foot not minding the suit I had on, I took off the shoes and walked barefooted, the harsh droplets of rain I was walking in was something I deserved, I took steady steps and reflected on what had happened, maybe I should have just admitted to the night, maybe I would have gotten the job.
• At that moment I should have thought of Liam and tried to get the job at all cost, but I was being inconsiderate and only thought about myself, this was something I knew I was wrong about, maybe I should have let my dignity bath in the mud for Liam.
• He's lying on that bed near death and all I could do was throw away such opportunity just for my so called dignity, I hit my foot against the wall and the sharp pain made me trip and I fell to the ground.
• I tried to stand back up but a black car sped past me and splashed muddy water on me, 'is this all you're worth?' that word echoing in my head every minute, I just wanted to fix things but it was impossible.
• Ethan was never meant to appear in my life anymore, I just wanted him to disappear, if he thought of me as dirty and slutty, I just don't want to go back to that terror of a place, I've had enough of his torments and terror, his appearance back into my life all seem like a cooked up plan to make my life miserable.
• This is where I belong, in the mud, getting rained on, I just can't bring myself to go back to the hospital with no hope of money in sight.

• POV(HANNAH),
• I kept walking till it was dark and late at night, the tiredness in my feet gave me no choice but to rest, I took a seat on the closed subway benched and switched on my phone, I had 10 missed calls from Zoe but I just didn't know how to tell her about it.
• I was left with no other choice but to call Adrian, I wanted to change my mind about calling him for money, but this was Liam's life on the line, and asking Adrian for money doesn't seem so wrong after all, I don't care about dignity this time, I just want to save my brother.
• I dialed his number and it rang for a while and he didn't pick it up, I called the number again silently praying he picked-up the call.
• The phone rang and it was later picked up, "Hello," the voice of a woman answered the call and I stared at the number to confirm of it was his number and I confirmed it.
• "Hello isn't this Adrian's phone?" I asked not minding the strange voice of the woman on the other end of the line, "yes it is," she replied and my heartbeat got uneasy and belated faster.
• "who are you if I may ask?" I asked hoping it was his sister or mother and not what I was thinking, "This is his girlfriend who are you?" She asked a mocking laugh escaping her lips, this felt like a prank, I couldn't bring myself to believe what was happening.
• "What do you mean? I'm his girlfriend?" I said breaking the awkwardness in the situation, she laughed so loud I had to adjust the phone away from my ear.
• "I don't know your story girl but I'm his girlfriend and I totally get it if he told you he likes you but, I want you to know that was temporary desires and he doesn't really mean it, he's mine and mine alone," the woman said and my heart shattered into pieces by the word temporary desires, even if the whole world turned their backs on me, Adrian should not be the one to do so.
• My heart threatened to burst on the spot as I tried to hold my impatient self, "if this is a prank Adrian stop it!" I yelled not minding the loudness of my voice.
• "Wake up! Leave him alone! He's never been yours to start with, he has always been mine and mine only," the woman said but I would keep denying it, until I see it myself.
• "It's a lie and I'm sure of it, enough with the prank I'm not joking," I said and she sighed from the other end of the phone, "so you want proof? I'll give you one then......Babe!," I could hear voice calling but there was no response.
• "Adrian! Are you not done having a bath? Hurry up" She called again and my heart skipped a beat, "yes! I'm almost done, I'll be down in a minute," Adrian's voice was loud and clear, the tears that threatened to fall down my cheeks came rushing out like a waterfall.
• "Better be fast! I'm all wet!" She said and I left my tears cascading down my cheeks as I listened to their conversation, "I'm done, want daddy to give you a good ride?" I finally heard Adrian's voice and the chuckles from the woman.
• The moaning came, slowly, "babe wait?" She suddenly said and I fell silent, "what is it?" He asked, "about that girl," she asked, "do you mean Hannah?"the mention of my name made me annoyed, "Yes!," "what about her?,"Adrian asked as if I was someone unimportant.
• "I don't want her getting involved in our wedding that's in 2 month, what if she ruins the plan," the word wedding completely shattered my heart and all I could feel was the uneasy beating of my heart, Adrian was getting married?.
• "don't worry babe, we're breaking up very soon," Adrian assured her, "that's what you've been saying for over a month," she protested, "I promise to break up with her before the end of this week," Adrian said and I cleaned my tears off, it was obvious and clear that there was nothing left of our relationship.
• Fuck Ethan! fuck Adrian! These men toying with my life and feelings, at this point, all that matters is Liam, be it Adrian or Ethan, nothing could stop me anymore.
• His moaning, her moaning, the sound was so clear that I felt like we were in the same room, I sat there on the subway for almost an.hour, listening to my boyfriend moaning with another woman, or ex-boyfriend.
• "Cum for me baby!" I heard his voice and I just couldn't continue listening and hung the call, let him do whatever he wants, I don't care, Liam matters most.

• Zoe gasped in disbelief as I told her about Adrian, "you should have yelled and at least cursed at him!" Zoe said angrily clenching her teeth, "and what good would that have done?" I said and Zoe sighed, "you're right," Zoe said and I hoped she wouldn't ask me why I failed the interview.
• She asked later that night and I just lied saying there were too many people, I knew there was only one way around this now, and that was getting Liam to safety, even if meant dragging my stupid dignity or making it bath in the mud, I would do anything for him, except going back to Ethan.

• POV(ETHAN),
• I paced to and fro in the room and my guilty conscience didn't seem to give any sign of leaving, but has been done has been done, it wasn't my fault that she happened to be there that night, and screw my stupid thoughts.
