Chapter 80 - A Contract Without Deception
- I get up and leave as quickly as I can. I have no idea what Amy was doing here, nor do I have the slightest clue who the man who bought the watch is. But just the thought of Noah's watch being in that con artist's hands makes me feel an unusual nausea.
- I splash my wrists and stare at my reflection in the mirror, taking a deep breath to keep from vomiting due to the nervousness I feel. But soon an alarm goes off inside me. "It can't be!" I whisper. Because protection is something that Noah and I, most of the time, leave out of bed.
