Chapter 44 - Signs Of Infidelity

• Noah sighs deeply, nods his head, and heads towards the bar. Meanwhile, I go to our room and enter the bathroom, eager for a bath. I take off my clothes and fill the tub, allowing the hot water to envelop my body, dissipating the tensions of the day. I am not willing to let them interfere with my relationship, but I also know that I cannot show understanding every time Amber acts contrary to our relationship.
• Feeling my body less tense, I decide it's time to end the punishment I imposed on my husband. After drying off, I put on a white lace nightgown. "Maybe I can tease Noah Ewing a little more," I think, as I take care of drying my hair.
• Exiting the bathroom, I find Noah sitting in the armchair. His gaze, filled with desire, confirms that I chose the right outfit. He finishes undressing and walks past me as if waiting for my consent to join him in the bath. However, noticing my distracted look, he continues towards the bathroom.
