Chapter 24

• Bea had never felt more ashamed of herself than she was today. She knew she looked really horrible, plus her head ached like crazy and she was sore down there, making her limp while walking.
• It was pretty difficult to get a ride at that moment but she eventually did. And after what felt like forever, the driver pulled up in front of her apartment. She paid him, got down, and made her way towards the entrance of her apartment.
• With shaky hands, she opened her purse and started searching for her keys.
